About Me
I'm Mackenzie Jacob, a multi-platform media strategist with a rich, 360 degree background in the entertainment industry. I began my career on the agency side, crafting tailored brand strategies for diverse TV/film clients. This experience gave me a deep understanding of how to connect brands with their audiences in meaningful ways. From there, I transitioned to HBO’s Creative Services team, where I learned what makes media truly compelling and how to create content that resonates with viewers. My journey continued at Paramount, where I focused on media planning and content strategy, developing long-lasting campaigns that drove engagement.​ On the non-profit side, through my role with Performing Arts Educators, I managed content for live events at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and abroad, often working with lean budgets while delivering high-impact results. In my role at Ticketmaster, I expanded on my client-relations experience, preparing 20+ venues to go on-sale for a range of large-scale live events. My current role at NBCUniversal brings all of these experiences together, project managing company-wide brand initiatives and building strategic partnerships for tentpole events like the 2026 Winter Olympics.

I have focused my work in the entertainment industry as I firmly believe that the arts are a gateway to the world. Movies, television, music, and theatre offer a slice of life that encourages empathy for others and a deeper understanding of the world around us. The entertainment industry's reach extends far beyond simply entertaining; it plays a pivotal role in shaping the modern perspective. I hope to promote meaningful work that speaks for the times we live in. By engaging in innovative media practices and by staying up-to-date with the always-evolving marketing space, I plan to make my own lasting mark on the industry.
